Q: When i start the mod, new menu is there, but when i start the level, HUD looks funky and there are old weapons!

A: You have screwed with the files. Reinstall the mod. If that does not help, try installing mod on the fresh installation of RF. Also check your map count - you should have less than 250 maps. If none of these works - contact me.

Q: Mod does not run, what's wrong?

A: There are several of ways to run mod. If one does not work, try another method.
|
|
Q: What are the ways?
|
A:
1. Duble-click Hive.exe icon located on your desktop.
2. Duble-click Hive.exe icon located in Red Faction directory.
|

Q: Mod still does not run...
|
|
A: If you have mod-like cheats installed, they will override mod files. Remove all the cheats and mod should work.
|
|
Q: Textures on the weapons do not look right.
|
|
A: Your graphic card does not support textures larger than 256x256, no solution for this problem.
|
|
Q: When I run Hive dedicated server, the mod does not appear to be running.
|
|
A: Make sure that you run the dedicated server with command -mod hive. If it still does not work, download Dedicated Server Addon. NOTE: cheats will override dedicated server too.

Q: Are there going to be any updates for the mod?

A: Yes. A lot of them.
